As I was researching on this artist, I thought about Griffith artist. He uses very simple neon sign to create art work. By using neon signs, he creates emotions and simple words that is really attractive and strongly puts what he wants to express in the art work. Unlike the Griffith artist, he doesn’t paint or draw using spray paints on the walls, but he uses simple words by neon sign which has meaning of Life, Death, Love, Hate, Pleasure, and pain. Some of his work can feel that it’s too violence and sexual, but in that work it has powerful meanings he wants to express to people. Such as a work called “sex and death,” he wants to show the meaning of fame, power, and how one’s can be failed and be looser. I think Bruce’s art work can be look as simple but it carries strong meaning by creating strong action it catches lots of attention and attractive.
